Derek's credits include several award winning feature and short films, shooting and editing a distributed feature documentary, The First, Last Race and directing main stage cameras to performances by OUTKAST, LL Cool J, The Cure, Weezer and Eric Church for a crowd of over 35,000 people. Most recently, his editing and compositing work for Nike could be seen on a billboard in Times Square during the 2015 New Years Eve Celebration.
Derek spent two years as the traveling recap editor for Tony Robbins which took him to Cabo San Lucas and Brisbane, Australia among other places. Derek successfully ran a studio in Los Angeles for 6 years where he Produced, Shot and Directed content for Revlon, Almay, Kraft, Tamrac, Gucci, Audi , Alienware and Patagonia.
He currently lives with his wife Jennifer and daughter Eryn in Portland, Oregon where he continues to direct and produce content for Intel and local filmmakers under his production company, Blue Brownie Creative.
